Jonathan Convery, CPA

Jonathan is a Certified Public Accountant and a graduate of the University of North Florida where he achieved his MBA in Finance in 2008. Jonathan is married to Megan Convery who he met while growing up in Palm Coast in the 90s and they currently have one child together (Maxine “Max” Convery).

Linda Nelson, CPA

Linda has been a practicing CPA since 2005. She eventually became a partner in Sandy & Nelson and then created Nelson & Associates as a sole owner. She is currently partly retired from doing tax returns so she can spend more time with her husband to travel.

Skip Newton, CPA

Skip started doing taxes in 1974 in Daytona Beach with the CPA Firm May Zima & Company and from there he eventually practiced in Ocala Florida for 24 years as a Shareholder in the firm Collier, Hagin, Newton, Phillips, and Hornby. Away from work Skip is an avid golfer and enjoys hanging out with his family which includes 2 grandsons.

Ted Geppner, CPA

Ted has over thirty-five years of diversified experience in public accounting, financial executive management, and tax compliance and planning. He has both domestic and international business experience with small and medium-sized companies. Ted is a graduate of Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts and attended the Graduate School of Business at Northeastern University and the Graduate School Business at Chapman College in Orange, California. Ted is a member of The Flagler Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club of Flagler County, and The Estate Planning Council of the Fun Coast.

Sara Bailey, Senior Tax Manager

Sara Bailey is the company's Senior Tax Manager and is actively pursuing her CPA license now. In her free time, she enjoys working out and hanging out with her family.

Agnes Olsen, Senior Accounting Manager

Agnes is the company's Senior Accounting Manager with numerous years as a sole owner of her own accounting firm. Recently her company was acquired by Convery Tax & Accounting to run the company's accounting division.

Tanya Andersen, Senior Accountant

Tanya has over 10 years in the industry. She currently is in charge of over 20 clients' books while also managing the entire payroll division. She is a dog lover and enjoys hanging with them and her husband Butch when not working.

Joane Demarco, Gatekeeper

Joane is the gatekeeper for the company. She handles the phone calls, scheduling, and the clients' final steps in the tax return process (E-file and Payments). Away from work she is an avid golfer and regularly donates her time to various golf tournaments.

I send my tax documents to Jon every year without a hitch. He is extremely knowledgeable and very professional about what information is needed. If you need help do not hesitate to contact them with questions, their friendly staff is top notch. I love that the firm is a family business and local. Person to Person is extremely important in todays world and Jon just gets it! I highly recommend using them for taxes or any accounting needs.

We have been using Jonathan and his team for years, they are always helpful even when we are always last minute. They also provide personal taxes for some of our family members. They are always willing to answer questions and double check to make sure we have everything we need to get the best outcome. Tax time can be stressful but they help in making it less stressful with friendly, knowledgeable service. We will continue to use them for as long as we and they are here and operating!
